Dean

Professor Wu Mengyun

WU Mengyun, professor and doctoral supervisor of School of Finance & Economics, Jiangsu University. She is the visiting scholar of FH-Konstanz University, Virginia Commonwealth University and Fudan University. She is also the member of IACMR and CPAS.

Professor Wu won several academic awards, such as the young and middle-aged academic leader of "Qinglan Project", high-level talent training target candidate of "Six Talent Peaks Project", "333 Project", and excellent young academic backbone of "Qinglan Project" in Jiangsu Province.

From 2005, more than 40 papers have been published in core scientific journals, several of them were retrieved by SSCI, SCI and CSSCI. Professor Wu presided over the National Natural Science Foundation of China, youth program of National Natural Science Foundation of China, China Postdoctoral special funding project, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, Humanities and Social Sciences Foundation of the Chinese Ministry of Education, etc.

Her major research and teaching interests include organizational and performance management, financial performance of small and medium-sized enterprises and business culture.

Wang Xiang

Learning experience: 

In June 2001, he graduated from the Chinese Department of Zhenjiang Teachers College with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

In December 2010, he graduated from the School of Business Administration of Jiangsu University with a master's degree in management.

Work experience:

From August 2001 to February 2002, secretary and head teacher of the Department of Chinese Language and Literature, Jiangsu University.

From February 2002 to April 2008, Youth League Committee Organization Director, Office Director and Secretary of the Youth League Committee, Jiangsu University.

From April 2008 to June 2011, Section Secretary of the Party Committee Office of Jiangsu University.

From June 2011 to November 2018, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Dean of the School of Marxism in charge of students’ affairs, Jiangsu University.

From November 2018 to June 2020, Deputy Dean of the School of Literature in charge of teaching, Jiangsu University.

From June 2020 to June 2022, Deputy Secretary and Vice President of the Party Committee of the Affiliated Hospital of Jiangsu University (First Clinical Medical College).

From June 2022, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Finance and Economics of Jiangsu University.

Vice Party Secretary

Sun Houjun

Learning experience: From 1989 to 1993, he studied at Jiangsu Institute of Technology (now Jiangsu University) majoring in metal materials and heat treatment and obtained a bachelor of engineering. From 1996 to 1998, he studied at Shanghai Jiao Tong University majoring in Marxism and ideological and political education and received a bachelor of education.

Work experience: He has stayed at school since 1993 and take up his current post in 2020.

Research interests: Party building research, Education management

Vice Dean

Professor Chen Haibo

Professor Chen won several academic awards, such as Candidate of Academic “333 Project” of Jiangsu Province, Academic Leader of Academic “Qinglan Project” of Jiangsu Province, Director of the Foreign Economic Theories Institute of Jiangsu Province, Executive Director of Jiangsu International Economics and Trade Association, Deputy Secretary-General of Zhenjiang Economic Society.

His main research interests include International trade and investment, regional economics, industrial economics, scientific and technological innovation, statistics application,etc. He has been published more than 50 academic papers in authoritative journals, for instance China Soft Science, Journal of International Trade, International Economics And Trade Research, Statistical Research, etc.

He has been also presided and participated in more than 20 research projects, including national social science fund project, humanities and social science research project, Jiangsu Education Office fund project.

Vice Dean

Associate Professor Yan Jun

Yan Jun, associate professor and vice dean of School of finance and economics, Jiangsu University. Gotten doctor's degree in western economics from Huazhong University of science and technology, postdoctoral in control science and engineering from Jiangsu University, and being Being the professional director of energy economics major of Jiangsu University,  the director of Jiangsu Foreign Economic Theory Research Association, vice president of Zhenjiang cooperative economy association and vice president of Zhenjiang agricultural products Brokers Association.

His research areas include Western economics,  Development Economics and Energy economy.
